Sister David Marie, S.C. (Mary Agnes Crehan, 80 years) died May 30 , 2013 at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Services were held on June 3, 2013 at Convent Station, N.J. and the burial took place on June 4, 2013.at Holy Family Cemetery, N.J.. She was the beloved daughter of the late David and Mary (Dowd) Crehan and the cherished sister of Julia Gaughan and her husband Thomas and of the late David Crehan and his surviving wife Elizabeth Crehan. Sister was greatly loved by nieces Beth (Crehan) Tammaro, Sarah (Crehan) Hines and her husband Steven, nephew David Crehan and wife Pam, nieces Maureen (Gaughan) James, nephews Thomas Gaughan and his late wife Angela, David Gaughan and wife Pam, John Gaughan and wife Virginia, James Gaughan and wife Kerri, Martin Gaughan and wife Noreen andTimothy Gaughan and wife Joanna as well as all their families. Sister was a beloved member of the Sister of Charity of Convent Station, N.J.for 63 Years. Her Education Ministry was in New Jersey at St. Anatasia’s in Teaneck, Holy Cross in Harrison, St. Matthew’s in Ridgefield and Holy Rosary in Elizabeth. Upon retiring from teaching, Sister David worked in the “Quality Review Department” at Trinitas Hospital for a few years. Strong friendships were formed with her co-workers and with many people she met over the years. Her family would like to thank the Sisters of Charity, especially the Sisters and staff at St. Mary’s Convent in Elizabeth, N.J., Sisters’s former co-workers at Trinitas Hospital, her many-many friends and the doctors and staff at Trinitas Hospital for their love, support and friendship.
