Nicolle Orielle Parks of Framingham passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at home after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was only thirty-one years old. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of Marvin Parks of Hyde Park and Dianne (Haley) Cintron of Framingham. Nicolle graduated from Leominster High School in 2002 and then received her Bachelor’s Degree from Framingham State University. She worked as an enrollment specialist for Quincy College for the last five years where she enjoyed her work and her co-workers. Nikki continued working and her education throughout her illness and just recently graduated from Northeastern University in August with her Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in higher education administration. She loved people, animals, music and shopping for a bargain, especially Coach Bags. She was the caring sister of Julianne Cintron of Fitchburg and a cherished granddaughter of Ellis R. Haley of Framingham, Julianne Fabrizio of Somerville, Doris Parks of Hyde Park and the late Reynolds Robinson. Loving niece of Steven Haley of Fall River, Virginia Kimball of Framingham, Linda Parks and her fiancé Marvin Hall of N. Providence, RI and Yvonne Atkins and her fiancé Owens Thompson of Hyde Park. Step daughter of Javier Cintron of Fitchburg and step sister of Anna, Javier, Jr. and Patricia Cintron. Kathleen M. “Kay” Wojciechowicz passed away on October 25, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose (Lane) Knapp. She was born July 8, 1929, in Taunton and raised in Framingham. She graduated from Framingham High School. She married Charles Wojciechowicz on November 6, 1949, at St. Adalbert’s Church, a Polish church in Hyde Park. They had five children – Kathleen, Barbara, Joanne, John and Mary and raised their family in Hyde Park. Kay was widowed in 1978, at the age of fifty. She was a strong woman of quiet determination who persevered and moved forward and continued to raise and support her family. She went back to work at John Hancock in the mailroom for approximately ten years. She enjoyed family time and summers in Plymouth. She moved back to her roots in Taunton in 2002, where she enjoyed her yard and flowers. Kay was a classy lady, who loved to reminisce and tell stories. When asked about her family, she would share that she had five children, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren who she was very proud of and “they all turned out good.” She was a mother ‘til the end – it was always about the children!Her children are grateful for the care and compassion of Gerald Miley M.D. and the caring nursing staff of the New England Baptist Hospital.
